Paris, 1934. Devant Notre-Dame une poursuite s\u2019engage au milieu de la foule. Le jeune Vango doit fuir. Fuir la police qui l\u2019accuse, fuir les forces myst\u00e9rieuses qui le traquent. Vango ne sait pas qui il est. Son pass\u00e9 cache de lourds secrets. Des \u00eeles siciliennes aux brouillards de l\u2019Ecosse, tandis qu\u2019enfle le bruit de la guerre, Vango cherche sa v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Vango est un jeune homme qui nous fait voyager dans son histoire. Que ce soit en hauteur, depuis un Zeppelin, \u00e0 la verticale, accroch\u00e9 sur les bords de falaises, sur des bateaux, \u00e0 terre, du hauts de collines ou de cath\u00e9drales. Entre ciel et terre. Il nous permet de voir le monde diff\u00e9remment. Vango est un jeune homme hors du commun, auquel je me suis attach\u00e9e tr\u00e8s rapidement. Alors qu\u2019il a vingt ans au pr\u00e9sent, je me l\u2019imaginais un peu peu plus jeune, peut-\u00eatre parce que nous voyageons aussi dans le temps, \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s. Il nous tend la main, et nous embarquons dans une course poursuite haletante avec ce gar\u00e7on \u00e9trange, s\u00e9rieux et dr\u00f4le \u00e0 la fois. Mignon comme tout, que tout le monde semble aim\u00e9, mais que personne ne conna\u00eet.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Une qu\u00eate initiatique et une fuite pour la libert\u00e9<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

C\u2019est l\u00e0, la cl\u00e9 de l\u2019histoire. Qui est Vango ? Il ne peut pas r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question lui-m\u00eame, se sentant traqu\u00e9, \u00e9pi\u00e9, pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre assassin\u00e9, ou tout du moins pi\u00e9g\u00e9. On l\u2019accuse d\u2019avoir tu\u00e9 un homme, son plus proche ami, le pr\u00eatre Jean. C\u2019est \u00e0 en perdre la t\u00eate ! Il doit fuir, voyant l\u2019\u00e9tau se resserrer, n\u2019\u00e9tant pas en mesure d\u2019expliquer ni la fuite, ni l\u2019acte. Sauf que nous sommes \u00e0 Paris en 1934. L\u2019Europe est un dr\u00f4le de continent en ce moment. Hitler vient d\u2019arriver au pouvoir. Le temps passe, et nous suivons toujours Vango dans sa fuite qui s\u2019est transform\u00e9e en qu\u00eate d\u2019identit\u00e9. De Paris en Italie, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Friedrichshafen, New-York, et dans les Highlands, c\u2019est un tour du Monde que nous propose l\u2019auteur.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Une rencontre historique<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ce roman jeunesse<\/a> m\u2019a absolument conquise parce qu\u2019il est un condens\u00e9 de plein de bonnes choses. D\u2019une part, les h\u00e9ros sont supers mignons, tr\u00e8s attachants, ainsi que justes. J\u2019ai autant aim\u00e9 Vango qu\u2019Ethel ou La Taupe par exemple. Mais l\u2019histoire de ce jeune homme, c\u2019est aussi une initiation douce \u00e0 l\u2019histoire. Situant l\u2019histoire \u00e0 l\u2019aube de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, les adolescents peuvent d\u00e9couvrir Hitler, Mussolini, Staline\u2026 La R\u00e9sistance \u00e9galement. Ainsi que des touches de la Premi\u00e8re Guerre Mondiale aussi, \u00e0 travers le discours d\u2019un moine. C\u2019est une initiation aux religions, chr\u00e9tiennes et juives. Mais c\u2019est surtout, avec tout cela, une grande aventure dans laquelle on se retrouve embarqu\u00e9e et qu\u2019on vit avec beaucoup de plaisir, mais aussi \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de curiosit\u00e9.<\/p>

Alors que je commen\u00e7ais cette histoire sans aucune attente, j\u2019en ressors pleine de curiosit\u00e9. Vango est l\u2019acteur d\u2019une histoire folle, la sienne, qu\u2019il cherche autant que nous et que tout le monde \u00e0 resituer dans la grande Histoire du monde. Accompagn\u00e9 de protagonistes aussi d\u00e9lirants les uns que les autres, il m\u2019a positivement surprise, et j\u2019attends avec beaucoup d\u2019impatience de pouvoir d\u00e9couvrir la suite.<\/p>
