Lors de la foire du livre de Bruxelles<\/a> l’an pass\u00e9, j’ai vu Pierre Alary en conf\u00e9rence. Et il a si bien parl\u00e9 de Gone with the Wind que depuis, je souhaite le lire. Un an plus tard, j’ai pu le d\u00e9couvrir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la m\u00e9diath\u00e8que ce qui me met en joie ! Alors, cette BD a-t-elle \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 la hauteur de mes attentes ? Je dois dire que ma seule interaction avec l’original de Gone with the Wind, alias Autant en emporte le vent, a \u00e9t\u00e9 le film. Devant lequel je me suis endormie tant il \u00e9tait long. Clairement, Pierre Alary propose une narration bien plus dynamique ! Je ne l’ai pas l\u00e2ch\u00e9 du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Au d\u00e9part, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 un peu surprise par les illustrations. Ce n’est pas un type de graphisme vers lequel je me tourne d’habitude. Mais en quelques pages \u00e0 peine j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement happ\u00e9e dans le r\u00e9cit. C’est un vrai voyage dans le temps. Nous nous retrouvons propuls\u00e9s aux USA du Sud, dans la r\u00e9gion d’Atlanta. La plantation, les champs de coton, les habits des protagonistes. Femmes de la haute, esclaves, hommes et soldats, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 vraiment prise dans le r\u00e9cit gr\u00e2ce au cadre pos\u00e9 par l’auteur-illustrateur. Parce que Gone with the Wind, c’est \u00e7a : une histoire de d\u00e9faite et de gros changement historique.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Peu de gens ignorent le titre Gone with the wind. Margaret Mitchell<\/a> a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une oeuvre particuli\u00e8rement marquante en terme d’histoire. Je dois dire que je suis tr\u00e8s curieuse du tome 2, puisque dans ce tome 1, on ne parle pas du tout de la lib\u00e9ration des esclaves. Mais on ressent pleinement ce que repr\u00e9sentent Scarlett O’Hara et Rhett Butler. L’une est une jeunesse g\u00e2t\u00e9e mais aussi une femme brid\u00e9e par sa condition sociale et ce qu’elle doit renvoyer. Elle veut tout, puisqu’on lui a inculqu\u00e9 cette illusion qu’elle peut tout avoir, tout en la privant de libert\u00e9s essentielles en tant que femme. Mais elle a la chance d’\u00eatre n\u00e9e blanche et riche. Le contraste avec les esclaves est saisissant. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 Rhett incarne toute la cupidit\u00e9 et la libert\u00e9 d’esprit des Etats-Unis d’aujourd’hui.
