Qui s&rsquo;en prend \u00e0 leurs amis ? Des mutants s\u00e9paratistes ? Des activistes humains ? De fausses pistes en chausse-trappes, les voil\u00e0 contraints de s&rsquo;enfoncer dans les souterrains de la ville, \u00e0 la recherche de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Dans ces endroits sombres et inqui\u00e9tants, dans ce monde de pierre o\u00f9 vivent des fugitifs, des mutants sauvages, des noctys&#8230; et des monstres, comme celui qui hante encore leurs cauchemars.<\/p><p>Parfois, poursuivre ses ennemis semble plus facile que d&rsquo;affronter ses souvenirs, mais quand la mort r\u00f4de, il faut faire face. Alors, lorsque Double Impact est sorti d\u00e9but 2021, je n&rsquo;ai pas h\u00e9sit\u00e9 une seconde avant de l&rsquo;acheter ! J&rsquo;avais tellement envie de retrouver Kit et Kat, les jumeaux que H. V. Gavriel m&rsquo;avait fait d\u00e9couvrir dans <a href=\"https:\/\/sorbetkiwi.fr\/index.php\/double-jeu-de-h-v-gavriel-magik-t-1\/\">Double-jeu.<\/a> Et cette suite m&rsquo;a au moins autant plu que le premier volume !<\/p><p>J&rsquo;ai notamment retrouv\u00e9 tout ce qui m&rsquo;avait s\u00e9duite dans le d\u00e9but de cette saga : un univers original, des personnages attachants et surtout une v\u00e9ritable coh\u00e9rence dans la construction du monde. C&rsquo;est un aspect auquel j&rsquo;accorde \u00e9norm\u00e9ment d&rsquo;importance lorsque je lis du fantastique. M\u00eame lorsqu&rsquo;une histoire repose sur des \u00e9l\u00e9ments surnaturels, j&rsquo;ai besoin de comprendre les r\u00e8gles qui r\u00e9gissent son univers.<\/p><p>Heureusement, H. V. Gavriel continue de d\u00e9velopper son monde sans perdre cette logique qui m&rsquo;avait tant convaincue. Les nouvelles d\u00e9couvertes enrichissent le r\u00e9cit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ac47ea elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"5ac47ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c3e0966 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1c3e0966\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-medium\">\u00ab Je l\u00e8ve les yeux au ciel, mais je suis habitu\u00e9 aux diatribes de ma s\u0153ur. Pour elle, c\u2019est blanc ou noir, les nuances de gris lui \u00e9chappent. Et m\u00eame si je me moque d\u2019elle souvent \u00e0 ce sujet, je ne peux m\u2019emp\u00eacher de lui envier un peu ses convictions. Pour moi tout est en nuances de gris, et parfois je m\u2019y perds, comme on s\u2019\u00e9gare dans la brume. Kat est mon fanal. \u00bb<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-113d8cb9 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"113d8cb9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-366d902a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"366d902a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-medium\">Une enqu\u00eate dynamique dans un univers toujours aussi riche<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47c34e55 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"47c34e55\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate suit son cours dans Double Impact, et l&rsquo;univers de Magik poss\u00e8de suffisamment de richesse pour multiplier les \u00e9v\u00e9nements int\u00e9ressants. Je ne me suis donc pas ennuy\u00e9e ! Le r\u00e9cit conserve son dynamisme et les diff\u00e9rentes intrigues permettent de poursuivre l&rsquo;exploration de ce monde fantastique.<\/p><p>J&rsquo;aime \u00e9galement toujours autant le duo form\u00e9 par Kit et Kat. Leurs personnalit\u00e9s tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes apportent un v\u00e9ritable \u00e9quilibre \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire. Cette compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 faisait d\u00e9j\u00e0 partie des grandes qualit\u00e9s du premier tome, et j&rsquo;\u00e9tais ravie de la retrouver dans cette suite.<\/p><p>Par ailleurs, je n&rsquo;ai absolument pas regrett\u00e9 d&rsquo;avoir choisi cette lecture pour Halloween ! Cette fois, les jumeaux nous entra\u00eenent notamment dans l&rsquo;En-Dessous, un lieu particuli\u00e8rement inqui\u00e9tant, fait d&rsquo;obscurit\u00e9 et de terreur. Autant dire que l&rsquo;ambiance correspondait parfaitement \u00e0 la saison !<\/p><p>J&rsquo;ai donc retrouv\u00e9 avec plaisir le m\u00e9lange d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate, de fantastique et de myst\u00e8re qui m&rsquo;avait s\u00e9duite dans Double-jeu. Surtout, cette suite confirme \u00e0 mes yeux que l&rsquo;univers imagin\u00e9 par H. V. En refermant Double Impact, j&rsquo;\u00e9tais terriblement frustr\u00e9e de ne pas avoir imm\u00e9diatement le troisi\u00e8me tome sous la main. J&rsquo;avais tellement envie de d\u00e9couvrir la suite des aventures de Kit et Kat !<\/p><p>Malheureusement, plusieurs ann\u00e9es ont pass\u00e9 depuis cette lecture et l&rsquo;attente continue. Dans <a href=\"https:\/\/hvgavriel.wordpress.com\/2025\/12\/29\/bilan-2025-et-projets\/?fbclid=IwY2xjawU0HmZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBwZG9mAXNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR7xO3eKe1ye8SM8ZBaWX5ynLYaUePsxoVkwOKIvv3vjbJLA3YW7ro41tFbwqg_aem_s9E2v-dJLEGwRUs5ru7ghA\">son bilan de 2025<\/a>, H. V. Gavriel \u00e9voquait sur son blog son intention de ressortir ses notes pour reprendre l&rsquo;\u00e9criture de la suite. Cela me donne \u00e9videmment un peu d&rsquo;espoir, m\u00eame si aucune date de publication ne permet encore de savoir quand nous pourrons retrouver cet univers.<\/p><p>Cette chronique est d&rsquo;ailleurs une adaptation de <a href=\"https:\/\/sorbetkiwi.wordpress.com\/2021\/10\/31\/deux-enquetes-a-faire-froid-dans-le-dos\/\">mon avis court<\/a> de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque. Je tenais \u00e0 lui offrir une place sur le blog, tout comme au premier tome, afin que les deux articles soient pr\u00eats lorsque la suite para\u00eetra enfin. Parce que, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s toutes ces ann\u00e9es, je compte bien retrouver les jumeaux d\u00e8s que possible !<\/p><p>Au final, Double Impact a confirm\u00e9 tout le bien que je pensais de cette saga. L&rsquo;univers reste passionnant, l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate conserve son dynamisme et les personnages me plaisent toujours autant. J&rsquo;ai ador\u00e9 retrouver Kit et Kat, m\u00eame si cette fin m&rsquo;a laiss\u00e9e sur ma faim.<\/p><p>H. V. Gavriel, on attend, on attend !
